I have successfully stood up an instance of SAP HANA, developer edition 1.0 SPS 11 on AWS. I have also successfully integrated HANA Studio into Eclipse. However, I have a need to connect to HANA via ODBC. To do this, I went to download/install the HANA client software, but cannot find it. From the SAP CAL, I click on Links -> HANA Studio & Client. Here, I am only presented with information about HANA studio. Can anyone help?

Do I need HANA Client to get the ODBC drivers, or it there another place to get them? Many thanks, Patrick.

Download SAP HANA ODBC client for MS Excel. Go to SAP Software component download site. Then double click on it to install ODBC HANA client on our PC.

Hi, if you have an account for the SAP Support Portal (customer, partner, ask-your-administrator), then just enter SAP HANA client in the search bar. Take 2.0 and select the operating system (Windows, I assume). If you do not have an SAP support account, you can also download the SAP HANA client from the Developer community / This will direct you to the SAP store; also requires an account but this one is free.
